On the date of June 27, 2019, Mark Montgomery passed away unexpectedly. He is survived by his wife of over 30 years, Ann, and his 3 children; Andrew, Ryan, and Sarah, numerous grandchildren, and a brother, Joel Montgomery, of Hershey, PA. Born in Pittsburg, PA, on March 13, 1953, he was a 1971 graduate of Winchester Thurston School where he was involved in basketball, student council, and the drama club.

Having a short lived career in film and TV during his younger days he appeared in such films as "1776", "Thunderbolt and Lightfoot", "The Walton's", "Medical Center", as well as recurring roles on "The Curse of Dracula" and "One Day at a Time". At the same time, he also modeled clothing for such companies as Eddie Bauer, JCPenney, and Sears. Leaving California in 1979 he later lived in Dallas, TX, where for over 30 years he worked for various branches of Wells Fargo Bank until his 2013 retirement.

He enjoyed time spent with his family as well as camping, hunting, attending vintage car shows, and he was a huge fan of NHRA, NASCAR, Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Mavericks, and the Pittsburg Steelers. Mark was generous, compassionate, and would go out of his way to help someone in need; he had a heart of gold and will be dearly missed. The Montgomery family will hold a celebration of his life privately at their convenience and there will be no public services as per his wishes with burial too be at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Dallas, TX.
