Mark was born on Pohnpei in the Federated States of Micronesia on June 24, 1950.  He came to Hawaii in the late 1960's to attend Job Corps.  We met in 1970 and got married one year later.  We have two children, eight grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.  We would have celebrated our 44th wedding anniversary on August 28.

He passed away at the Queen's Medical Center on Oahu on March 7, 2015 one day before our son's birthday.  He was only 64 and would have been 65 in June.

Mark was a good father and a good husband.  Even though it got hard for him to do things around the house, he gave it his best try until he could no longer do it.

He will forever be loved and missed.  In Hawaii, we say "A hui hou" which means until we meet again.
