Mark Allen Holt died unexpectedly in his home on the 20th of May in New Boston, OH at the age of 56.
Mark is survived by his sister, Vicki (Holt) Brown of Jackson, OH, his four children, Jennifer (Holt) Stamler, of Manassas, VA, Mark “Jay” Holt of Portsmouth, OH, Kyle Holt of Ironton, OH, and Amanda “Mandy” Holt of Ironton, OH, and four grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter David Holt, of New Boston, OH and Dessie Ilene (Meadows) Holt, of New Boston, OH.
Mark Allen Holt was born on October 22, 1963 in Portsmouth, OH. He attended West Portsmouth High School and graduated Shawnee State University with a degree in Welding in 1984. Mark was an avid motorcycling enthusiast, a fan of NASCAR, and an accomplished musician. He loved the outdoors, spending time with family and enjoyed working with his hands.
Due to COVID-19, there is no funeral scheduled. All are encouraged to celebrate Mark’s life by making a donation in his honor to their favorite Christian charity.
