This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Marlene Odom, 76, born on October 28, 1935 and passed away on May 22, 2012. We will remember her forever. Marlene passed away peacefully with her daughter Tracy and her granddaughter Ashley at her side. Marlene Odom is survived by two brothers Dan Powell and Gary Powell of Barberton Ohio. She is survived by four daughters, Marcia Smock of San Diego CA, Terry Gunther of Hubert NC, Linda Odom of San Diego CA, Tracy Land of San Diego CA and Gloria Kerson of Alamosa Colorado. She is survived by four grandchildren- Laura McCracken of San Diego CA, Lisa Peery of Las Vegas NV, Amber Kubik of Albemarle NC  and Ashley Land of San Diego CA. She is survived by five great grand children- Nadalyn Peery, James McCracken and Justin McCracken, Brian Peery and one on the way. There will be no funeral service. Marlene will be cremated. There will be a wake that will take place in San Diego and her ashes will be scattered in Las Vegas NV in July 2012. Las Vegas is where Marlene was born and where the family spent a great deal of time. Marlene was a spirited woman who loved shopping, eating out and playing bingo and slot machines. She will be deeply missed by all of us.
