Marlene was my teaching partner the first year I taught fourth grade at St. Thomas the Apostle Grade School. Since I was a newcomer, I depended on Marlene to answer many questions for me almost everyday. She was always patient and ready to help me. I'll always be grateful to her for that. She was a lovely lady and excellent teacher.
