Dear mom, your first born great grandson Joseph is leaving in a few days for Navy boot camp. I am and you would be so proud of the young man that he has become ..He will be a great addition to the Navy and we are all so very proud :)

Loved visiting with Uncle Charles ,he was so happy and so gullible ..innocent ,fun .

Mom bought this for me many , many years ago from one of her Bingo buddies ..

This yard---this home--was always Grams HOME. Skokie and this house on Trumbull was where she was the happiest. I will always hold on to those wonderful memories that I have of Gram in this home. I miss you.

Mom ,Holly and I made sure you were with us on this day for Sean's graduation .
You would have been so proud of him and the graduation was beautiful a little slow and boring at first but when it came to the people who it was really about it was wonderful . I am one proud, happy grandma and I wish you would have been ther but I will share with you anyway and always . Love and miss you so much June .

Mom & Holly had the strongest bond of all ,as a baby most times mom was the only one who could comfort her ,even into adulthood sometimes this was the case when only gram could comfort her .

She loved April's new husband and continued to be his friend for many , many years .

Today Tyler looked up ,put his hand on his heart and said great grandma is in all of our hearts :) He is a treasure and loves his great grandma sooooooooo much.

Our family traveled to Baltimore often as mom got older those trips became only for deaths in the family ( Her brothers & sisters ) . Jack and I traveled to Baltimore in 2009 . Baltimore Maryland holds a special place in mine and my families hearts and I hope to take the grandchildren there soon .

Anyone who knew Gram could tell you that every song she ever sang--even if it was the ABC's she would always be at least a word or 2 behind! You all know just what I'm talking about! I could be singing AB and she would just be starting on the A!!! What a funny memory---and I sure do miss that singing now!! I love you Gram!

My goodness this is so so silly, but I have this as such a vivid memory of Sean growing up! When Sean was maybe 2 and I worked full time Gram used to stay home at the house on Trumbull and take care of him for us. Oh my he was so darn attached to her he usually would rather hang with her than me. Anyways one afternoon I recieved a call from Gram while I was at work. She was frantic!! She told me that I needed to come home right away--Sean had gotten and drank a whole bottle of bubbles!! I was nervous and called the Dr.---no harm done just some tummy aches. It sure is funny now though looking back--Gram and I had many laughs about it since then!!

Mom was getting pretty sick at this point , but she sure loved her TyTy,Riley, Yoohoo and Mallo cups !

My mom always fooled me on this day . One year in particular she went to the picture window in my house in Skokie and she said June!!!!June!!!! Someone broke out the windshield on your car . I went running outside in my pj's only to turn and see her laughing hysterically. She fooled me every time :)

So after a late night of school conferences @ Sean's school I headed to mom's to pick up my Tyler. Come to find him with my mom in Gram's roon doing what Tyler calls Magwik (magic)!! It was the funniest and sweetest thing ever! Gram had just a black thread and was moving it around in her hands---Tyler just thought it was wonderful! He still talks about Magwik with Great Grama! We will forever remember Magwik times with you Great Grama!! 

So Sean and I take Gram shopping for the afternoon at Target! One of her favorite stores that we did not get to very often. They had a calculator on sale that Sean needed for his 8th grade year of math--it was super expensive. As we are in the car leaving Target Gram hears me telling Sean how inportant it is to not lose this calculator. We will never forget---Gram then asks Sean if he has a chain that he can wear around his neck with the calculator attached!! We were definitley laughing out loud!! Sean and I had tears rolling down our cheeks!! Gram had no idea that this scientific calculator was huge!! I can still just imagine Sean with his calculator around his neck at school!! We love you Gram and will never forget the laughs we shared!
