May God continue to strength all of the you.
God sent an angel from heaven early the morning of October 17, 2011 to seal the lips of a darling mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend.
Marsha Jean Holt was born September 20, 1954 in Woodland, Ga. She was the eldest child and only girl born to proud parents, Mr. Ernest Lee and Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Holt. Her father and younger brother Clifford Logan Holt preceded her in death.
Marsha received Christ at an early age and joined Shady Grove Baptist Church, Talbotton, Georgia. She was a 1972 graduate from Central High School, Talbotton, Georgia.
A loving mother and grandmother, who knew just the right words to say to keep us strong, God took her home where there is no pain and no sorrow, just unbound joy. He made a way; we thank him for his everlasting mercy.
Marsha is survived by three sons: Desman (Vonetta) Holt, Tavares (Andree’) Holt, and Ylottis (Ebonye) Holt; five brothers Earnest (Peggy) Holt Jr., James Holt, Ivory Holt, Fabian Holt, and Sherman (Vernessa) Holt; uncles: Edward Harmon, Clyde Holt, David (Sally) Holt, and Stanley (Kim) Holt, aunts: Josephine Holmes, Alice Pearl (Izell) Hollis, Jewell Leonard, and Caroline (Carl) Powell, two special great-aunts: Marie Evans and Lucy M. Peters, one great-uncle: Leonard Hinton, four grandchildren: Marcus, Skye, Desiree, and Caleb; a special nephew Santwan, two special nieces LaToya and Chaka; and a host of other uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
