Marshall Howard Brogden, 65, died Sunday, July 10, 2016 at Duke University Hospital.

He was the son of the late Kenneth Brogden. He was a member of Union Baptist Church where he served as Deacon and taught Sunday School for over forty years. He was retired from Carolina Door Control.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at Union Baptist Church by Rev. Dan Hill. Burial will be in Brogden Family Cemetery with Masonic Rites.

Surviving are his wife of forty-five years, Sandra Brogden of Durham, his mother, Christine Goss of Durham, a son Wesley Brogden of Durham, a daughter, Tracy Coley and husband Tony Coley of Creedmoor, a brother, Mike Brogden and wife Sandra R. Brogden of Creedmoor, a sister, Patricia Proctor and husband Bobby Proctor of Creedmoor, three grandchildren; Evan Brogden, Taylor Coley and Makayla Coley. He was preceded in death by a sister, Teresa Kay.

Visitation will be held Tuesday evening, July 12, 2016 from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at Eakes Funeral Home in Creedmoor.
