His Life

Marshall Dana, formerly of Millbury, MA, died unexpectedly on August 30th in San Jose, California. In 1965, Marshall received his degree in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Marshall relocated to California in 1968 where his family remains. Marshall served his country as Captain in the U.S. Air Force from 1968 to 1972 at Vandenberg Air Force Base. The family then relocated to San Jose where Marshall worked for Westinghouse Electric Company in Sunnyvale.

In 1979, Marshall moved his family to Western Montana where they built a home in Corvallis, MT. Marshall loved “Big Sky” Montana where he enjoyed hunting and fishing with his sons. His son, Jim, particularly, has shared the joy of fishing the lakes and ocean from Oregon to California. 

The family later relocated back to California in 1986. 

Marshall will be remembered for his faithfulness to his family, his generosity and willingness to quietly lend a hand to anyone in need.

Marshall is survived by Barbara (Nedoroscik) Dana, his sons, Michael, Jim and Todd as well as his grandson, Joshua (son of Michael), brother Mark Dana (Eileen), his nieces, Jo Ann Dana and Allison, his nephews, Joe, Adam, Matthew, and Andrew. Marshall was predeceased by his father, Morris Dana, mother, Mary (Proule) Dana, sister, Meredith (Ordway) Dana, and brother, Merrill Dana (Betty)
