Marshall Eugene Lunsford,52, a resident of 345 Hamilton Lane, Henderson, North Carolina, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2011 at Maria Parham Hospital.
A native of Granville County, the son of the late William James Lunsford and Catherine Adcock Askew. He was of the Baptist faith and employed by Ranes Heating & Air Conditioning Company in Henderson. He was an avid racing fan and loved fishing, music and his dog Jack.
Graveside Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Monday, March 7, 2011 at Meadowview Memorial Park by Rev. Jason Thornton.
Surviving are his two daughters, Jessica Lunsford of Stem, Tiffany Lunsford Of Kittrell, his mother , Catherine Adcock Askew of Henderson, three sisters, Pamela Honeycutt of Henderson, Tammy Hayes of Oxford, Rebecca Higgins of Lake Hurst, New Jersey, two brothers, Danny Lunsford of Henderson, Lawrence Lunsford of Stem and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 12:30 – 1:45 PM, Monday, March 7, 2011 at the Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford and at other times at the home of Lawrence Lunsford, 1718 Tally Ho Road.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Marshall. I remember the good old days when we were just teenagers and he use to call me kitty cat and meow at me. He was so funny. I have a picture of him kneeling down with my brother Jr. from years ago. He had that big hair and that smirk on his face. So sorry....
