Mrs. Baker passed away on November 7, 2016 at UAB hospital. She was born in Tallapoosa County to Earnest S. and Lora Belle Sasser Prince.

She was a member of New Beginning Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Maxine (Louie) Wills; brother, Benjamin F. Prince; 13 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 25 great great grandchildren and 1 great great great grandchild. Numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, John T. Baker, Jr. Son, Hubert C. Baker. 2 great granddaughters, 2 brothers and 6 sisters.
