I cant even begin to imagine how they have managed to cope to date and how they will cope seeing you in a casket today . Chinekenna mekwalum ebele bikonu ooo. I pray God to continue to console and comfort the beautiful family you left behind. May God continue to grant your children, your dad, your twin and siblings every courage / strength they need to come through it all in Jesus name amen. I pray God to restore their peace of mind and happiness. Martha ezigbo mmadu, you were generous beyond reason, full of hair raising anecdotes, loyal to all and extremely humble. I am sure you must have your wings by now. As you walk on the street of gold with other saints I know you will find peace. Many will miss you Omanma nwannem. May the Angels welcome you to paradise. She was a ray of light and life. She exuded genuine happiness and always focused on the present.
My aunt always thought about others, and would reach out to people who needed help. She was a humanitarian.
A day doesn’t go by when I don’t think about her and I miss her very much.
A story I will truly remember is when me, my sisters, my mom and my aunty Martha went to the ice cream store. There were tons and tons of toppings, and aunty Martha chose all of them. When the ice cream parlor would ask “you want this one” aunty Martha would go “put it”. The ice cream bowl was filled with so many different toppings, but she enjoyed it without hesitation.
When life threw anything good or bad she enjoyed life without hesitation....

I will never understand this situation, as my aunt was such a kind heart. But it is not in my hands
I remember a lovely song called “candle in the wind”
There is a part that says

“it seems to me you lived your life
Like a candle in the wind
Never fading with the sunset
When the rain set in”

“Your candle's burned out long before
Your legend ever will”
These words speak to the essence of my aunt. ❤️

My aunty Martha has inspired many to reach out to others in need of help, and to see the positive side of every situation. Thank you for touching my life and many others.

Mara Mara.. as I have always fondly called you. I cannot believe that this is a farewell,  God has called you and who are we to say otherwise.
I have known you all my life with your contagious laughter, a beautiful soul both on the inside and out. You celebrated others’ successes as if they were yours.
There was nothing that you could not do, or anyone you couldn’t talk to no matter who they were.
A goal getter, best child, sister, mother, friend and most especially confidant to those who knew you best.
Heaven has gained a joyous angel, we will miss you , but you will forever be in our hearts.
Adieu Mara Mara.

Dear Martha,

It's indeed very difficult to come to terms with bidding you goodbye. I found in you a genuine friend. While serving with me in this present year in the PolioPlus Committee of RI District 9141, you never hesitated to privately call me to offer advice on how some of our plans could be better approached for better outcomes. And in each occasion, it worked!

Your lovely soul radiated hope and assurances within a large perimeter of your presence.

I woke up this morning, having the urge to say a poem, not just any random poem but the ones you taught me.
Sadly, I never got to really thank you for the values and morals you instilled in me.
Thank you for everything.
Till me meet again on the last day.

Ewooo, Chi ewelu anyasi jie! I got the devastating news from Ngozi Mordi and couldn't believe my ears!
My heart is still bleeding and I still refuse to believe that Martha is no more! Martha why should you die now? At your prime?

I met Martha and Ngozi at Infant Jesus Academy, Asaba some years back when we facilitated Leadership training for them! Martha was full of life, beautiful inside and outside, ever ready at our service and spoiling us with gifts! I have come to realise that good things/people do not last long, if not, why should Martha die now???

Anyway who am I to question God. I strongly believe that she has gone to join her Maker! The God giveth and taketh, may His name be glorified.

Jee nke oma Epitome of Beauty!
Adieu Excellent Servant of Humanity!!
Adieu one with Heart of Gold!!!

May your gentle soul continue to rest in the bosom of the Lord.

I know she is in a better place. Rest in perfect peace my hottie my sister. You will be greatly missed

Nne Ben like we call ourselves, I will forever cherish the times we spent together, ur hearty laughter and voice will forever remain in my memory. My immediate and extended family mourn you sorely. My consolation in all these is that you have gone to be with your maker where you will no longer suffer discomfort. My dear Twin sister Martha. i sit here and ponder how much i'd like to talk with you today. There are so many things that we didnt get to say. i know how much you care for me and how much i care for you. and each time that i think of you i know you will miss me too. An angel came and took you by the hand and said your place was ready in Heaven, far above.... And you had to leave behind all those you dearly loved. You had so much to live for, you had so much to do. it still seems impossible that God was taking you. Though your life on earth is past, in heaven it starts anew. you will live for all eternity, just as God has promised you. And though you have walked through Heaven's gate. We are never far apart for everytime i think of you, you are right here, deep within my heart. Rest well in the bosom of our lord jesus. We love you but God loves you more. Omenwa!
