Martha Culpepper was born on June 30, 1922. She was the daughter of the late Sam and Mittie Bryant of Talbotton, Georgia.
Martha was a member of Powell Baptist Church. She joined the church at a very early age.
Martha was preceded in death by her late husband MC Culpepper, Sr. on April 24, 1976.
Martha dedicated herself to taking care of her only son. She also enjoyed spending time with her family. Most times when you saw her, she would be smiling and bringing joy to other people. She loved to sing and listen to music of all types.
Martha departed her life on July 11, 2014 peacefully at home in Shiloh, Georgia.
She leaves to cherish her memories: one son, MC Culpepper, Jr.; two sisters, Catherine Jackson of Shiloh, GA and Mary Nell Cook (Jim) of Milford, Kansas; and a very special niece, Joann Holsey, who cared for her until the last day. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends to share all the memories of her life.
