OUR Mother!!! OUR All!!!

May 26, 2013
I would never had tot in a million yrs that u would leave me wen u left! Very soon. U never nursed me to Maturity. Kudos to Mrs Adeyinka Kayode Ibitoye who did. Though she was ur third child bt I still miss ur role. Without being superstitious, my late mum cud be discribed as a woman imbibed with sterling mind nd breath of vision. Ur departure on AUG 3rd 1999 was very shocking. Bt God kws d best. Wen we think of our mum, what cums to mind readily is proverb 31 {WOMAN}. To us she encapsulated all that woman was nd much more. Indeed she was noble in character. Calm in spirit bt cheerful in disposition. Our mum was a GEM, rare nd priceless to keep. As a wife she was faithful nd true to her husband. Always caring, always loving. She did him good all her life. Honouring him nd putting his needs before hers. She was his jewel in his crown. Mum was d mainstay of our home, solid as rock. She was d shinning light dat light up our lives. Our home was a haven that many troubled and weary souls found rest. Family, friends nd strangers, all were equally in mums sight. As child she tot us love! Respect! Honesty! Contentment. She never live beyound her means nd she made us value what we had. She also tot us the value of stable home! Providing 4 us a safe nd secure foundation. We were SEVEN {7} yet mum loves us ll d same. U could never sence her favourite. Her hearth was as wide as an open key. She knew us all so very well, our strength, weakness nd personalities. She was quick to settle our quarrels nd fair in her judgements. Through school! Mum cheered us on. She was there to encourage us nd fight for justice if needful. We were never a failure to mum dir was always hope to do better next tym. With mum there were no male or female wen it cums to househood chores. She tot us all to cook nd clean » all our spouses are trully blessed. There was never a dull moment with mum, she was always full of stories of her childhood. Mum was very pretty nd fashionable. We were the envy of a lot of our friends. We always look 4wrd to mum visit at school so we could shou her off. She was a picture to behold. No matter what mum wore, she stoodout in the crowd. She's full of dignity nd honour. She was a woman of gr8 insight. Many of our friends were closser to her than there own parents. They all called her Mummy nd she treated them no less. She was a woman of great wealth, nt in worldly goods bt in act of kindness. When ever we questioned her good deeds, she would smile nd say THEY ARE SEEDS SHE WAS SOWING 4 US TO REAP LATTER IN LIFE. How true her words were. Mum was both within nd without beautiful. She always Said » life is what u made 4 ur self. Mummy u made a gr8 one. Choosing to love ur family nd putting us 1st. B4 ur desire nd dreams. WE D SEVEN CHILDREN RISE UP TODAY 2 CALL U BLESSED!!!

Our hope was so high while u laid on d hospital bed! Though u got no much strenght to speak to us anymore. We had d courage that it was jst going to be a matter of timend u would return home to us. Our courage prompted us to pray nd we never ceased to pray. On ur 7th day in Hospital, it then dawned on me dat ur lord has come nd u wud soon go home to rest cause u hardly open ur eye to see me. U were moudy wen I left u dat very sunday evening. Fadeke was standing beside u on monay monin nd u took ur last breath. We did nt dispair though we would have love u being with us bt we knew dat resting in d lord is better than pains nd agony of this world. U ar a gift to us. U were so beautiful in looks nd in heart. U were an epitome of love nd peace maker. A mother indeed. Kind, hospitable nd God fearing. U were an inspiration nd a shinning light of gaudiance. U tot me d essence of humility. U were a virtuous woman, who kept her home till d end. U always advised me to keep my home nd love my family wen I get married. HAA its tru nd now I believe ORISA BI IYA OSI, IYA LALABARO OMO, MAAMI KO SI IYA MO O. U were a rock of support to all. SUN RE O! MARTHA! AREWA OBINRIN GBOLOJO. Iya ni iya mi, oninu re. Asoore maseka. U will 4eva be loved.

My ROLE MODEL

Am still trying to be like u! God help me. Mum u do tell me I wud be wat God has made me to be. I remember asking u this question » Is it possible to be 100% patient? Nd ur answer was YES, let go nd allow God to tk over. WHAT A WORD. U made me understood patience cn cook a rock to be as soft as meat nd I asked how? Have u tried it nd u said YES, av tried it mum nd it has worked 4 me. HOW AMAZING. U also tot me d greatest power is FORGIVENESS! Wow, this d level I am now. All thanks to God 4 ur life. U also tot us nt to fell important than anyone cause isight of God all men ar equal. Now that u ar gone, though u never leave a mansion of plots of lands “ but the greatest thing u left was d word of God, his love, peace nd ur good heart to every one. Am missing u mum. Rest on till we meet IYE OMO
