Martha Lisa Rodriguez was a loving daughter, a loyal sister/confidant, an amazing, intelligent RN, an awesome, single mother to two daughters and so much more!
When she gave, she did with her whole heart without reservation!
Mom managed to raise two daughters in the "latchkey years" while working two jobs and putting herself through school!
Mom was also a wonderful grandmother, "granny", Tabitha,Mykayla and Priscilla!
We were her girls and she did everything in her power to protect us when necessary!
While mom was strict, she was also fair.
All she ever wanted was for us to be happy and to be the at whatever we chose to do or be in life!
My mom was my best friend and I miss her terribly!
There are days when I can feel her presence and can hear her soothing voice when I'm having an emotional breakdown!
