Mother Martha,

The heartbreaking news of your passing has left me speechless all week. You will be so dearly missed! I will miss your smile and long, warm hugs, your soft poignant words of wisdom, and your presence as a matriarch of this family.

I know you will be walking beside us still, as Mama Pam is, every day of the rest of our lives until we are reunited again. It was an honor and a blessing to have known you all these years like a mother!

Hi Mother Martha!

Thank you for blessing us with the gift of your loving & youthful energy during our time spent together. There is less laughter and joy in this world without you here with us in the flesh and although we will miss your presence, I am so thankful to have known you!

Until God sees fit for us to see each other again, rest in Power Mother Martha!

Dear Momma Martha!
You are soo amazing, calm and sweet! It’s going to be tough without here. You are woven into the fabric of this family and how it functions. Cooking dinner I made one plate less tonight and my heart sank. You always honored us, all of your children. For every issue you had a trinket or a solution. You’re the true definition of Love and Lotalty! You never said much but your action in Love was soo Bold and bright! Thank you for being an example of love, light and sweet goodness.

Thank you for welcoming my family and most of all, allowing me to be a part of your beautiful daughters life. I can’t wait until the moment we meet again in heaven with our lord.

We love you so much. When Dede married Nikki we gained a sister, a niece & granddaughter in Emani, & and a mother in you. You are an incredible person. As much as it hurts to see you go I know we'll see you again. There was no shortage of letting you know we love you. Everytime we saw each other it was custom for us to let each other know it. I'm blessed to have called you mom. Thank you for extending your love to us and to my mom. We will continue your legacy, mother Martha.

My heart aches. Two major pillars of our family that we've lost this year. But gone on to a much better place, and to be with The Lord. Mother Martha left such a touch of love, comfort, unity, and incredible kindness in my heart and spirit. With every interaction and conversation, I cherished her smile, laugh, and funny remarks. Her presence, her touch, her hugs will sorely be missed. But this is just a temporary break until we meet again in God's heavenly kingdom. 

I love you so much family. I'm here for you and I'm praying for you. But in such difficult seasons like this is where God's strength and presence is the strongest. Just like Mom, Mother Martha was a bright angel on this earth. As a family, as a group, as a unit bonded together in Christ we will continue to shine that light to others.
