I remember when me and my sister were just kids mom was always working super hard and taking night classes so she could get a better job.she managed to buy a house in a nice neighborhood in Wichita kansas.my sister and I were what they called latch key kids. Even though Mom was always working she would always take the time for family time nicer days we would go fly kites together or just lay and watch clouds go by seeing what we could imagine they were. One time I remember clearly there was at least three foot of snow outside but mom wanted to go on a picnic at the park she packed slices of meat and cheese and crackers fruit and a thermos of hot chocolate we piled in her 66 Chevy Impala and drove to the park we sat in the car with the heater going and had one of the best picnics that I had ever had. My mom was unstoppable when she set her mind to do something you had better believe that is what was going to happen I miss her and wish we had more time to make my more memories. I couldn't of asked for a better mother.

I miss your beautiful face and you r stubbornness and your hugs and everything about you. We took our time for granted and that is my only regret. I miss you so very much it hurts and that hurt and loneliness still has not gone away I don't think it ever will. I still need you mom. I love you soooooo much !

When I was about five my mom told me my aunt Martha and my two cousins would be down the next day. I was so excited I kept asking when will they be here I waited up a long time before sleep finally over took me.
The next morning I woke up and my cousins Tara and Trela were asleep on the floor. Trela had pink foam rollers in her hair. We became fast friends. Then I met their mother my aunt Martha  She was so tall. She reminded me of a tall Angie Dickenson. She had lived in Cslifornia so in my mind I thought she was a movie Starr. She had a convertible car it was so cool the top came down and she even let us ride in it.
I thought this was so cool she even drove us to Girdnets store to buy everyone ice cream.
Love you aunt Martha. You are truly missed

Martha and family.

I remember the first time I met my aunt Martha and her two girls Tara and Trela.  I was probably around five. I lived with my grandma Jones. My mom told me that the next day I would meet my cousins. I went to sleep and when I woke up they had traveled a long way to see us. There staring at me was Trela she had these pink cutlers in her hair and was still in her pjs. She was so cute. Then Tara was already up.  Tara was tall and strong and athletic and liked adventure. We had a good day playing in grandpas  apple tree. Tara climbed almost all the way to the top. Trela and I we were more reserved and only got about half way up.
Then I met aunt Martha. Martha  was beautiful with her blonde hair and California stylish looks. She was very tall and carried herself well. She reminded me of a Hollywood movie star. Martha had this convertible car I think it was red. She was so nice to take us all to Girdners store to buy pop and ice cream. So away we went in that pretty car driven by a beautiful woman. My mom rode shotgun. Trela in the middle. Me and Tara in the back. We got there we all went in and got some Ne-Hi pop and and I even remember the ice cream I got. An orange push pop. We were careful not to get all that sticky stuff all over her car. I was impressed she even let us eat ice cream in there.
That is my first memory of my aunt Martha. So beautiful with blonde hair tan legs and a red sports car.   She will forever be remembered by me as a beautiful woman who cared for her family. She loved her children so much.
