June 11, 2013

Upon graduation from Fitzsimmons and Regis college, the family moved to the Milwaukee area where Marv began his  career with the Veterans Administration hospitals.  Their son, Nathan, was born while in Milwaukee.  Marv also worked  at hospitals in Iowa City IA and  Houston TX  before coming to Seattle in 1987.   At that time MRI machines were new.   Prior to starting work in Seattle he went out east for several weeks of training on the repair of the MRI.  He loved the challenge of his work and attended many company schools over the years to keep up with the ever-changing technology.  He worked at the Seattle  VA Hospital until his retirement December 31, 2011.
