Vivian and I had great times playing cards with Gwen and Marvin for close to 25 years. Marvin had a wonderful sense of humor and we will miss him. We also miss all the wonderful e-mails he sent us with such beautiful sights. We have saved many of them. Each time we look at them we will remember Marvin , again. Gwen, please know we wish you well in the coming years.

Pops was a special person to me & always will be. I am so thankful that I got to have such a great & wonderful bond with him, not many grand kids have that opportunity. I will definitely miss him calling & singing happy birthday to me, the big hugs he loved to give & most importantly his orneriness. I will cherish every memory. I love you Pops & miss you. I can't wait to see you again.

Marvin was a wonderful uncle to me and brother to my mother. I will always remember his sense of humor and keen wit. He cared about people and made sure everyone he came into contact with left with a smile. He will be missed.

I did not know him well, but I do know his daughter Rhonda and how much she loved her Daddy. From her love and his actions I know that he was an exceptional man.

Saturday, my precious father passed from this life to life eternal. I consider it a privilege to have cared for him, these last 8 months, as he warred, mightily, to regain his health. The last week of his life, he made the decision to call in Hospice, relax, and let "nature take its course". I am happy to report he was surrounded by his family, who adored him, when he left this world.
