Last Mothers Day 2011
Hi mom...
Last mothers day is one of the best and will hold it very dear. The day was wonderful, you want to get all dressed up and made it a point to want your jewley put on. You wore the pink sweater with the pearls on it. Jim and I took you out to Golden Carrol for lunch. We had a great time, you kept stealing stuff of our plates (hahaha) it was wonderful.
After lunch I figured you would be tried and ask if you wanted to come home and you replied NO you wanted to ride around and spend to day out. It was 11 pm before me made it back home, It was great spending the day as a family, little did I know that a week later you would be called home, and leave us with one of the best memories.
It now has been a year and god how I have missed you. You made it a point of enjoying that mothers day... So here it is again Mothers Day and now I have to be here without you here but in sprit you will alway be with me and I know you are looking down upon me each and every day... I LOVE YOU and MISS YOU......
HAPPY MOTHERS DAY MOM....
a saying posted on my facebook page
A raindrop landing on your cheek is a kiss from someone that lives in heaven and is watching over you....
The ditch
I remember one Saturday when I came to visit. You put me to work cleaning out the ditches so the water would flow off the property better. You came out to help work in the yard. When I turned around I saw you coming outside and I laughed so hard. You had on this sweatsuit (mind you it is 80 degrees outside) a hat with this pink scarf around it, your mud boots and gloves. Only you could pull that off. I will always remember all the joy you brought to my life. You were such a joy to be around. Made me laugh all the time. Thinking of you on your birthday.... All my love, Kon
