Mary Ann Floyd Daniel, 80, a longtime resident of Granville County, passed away Wednesday, November 6th, 2013 at Duke Regional Hospital in Durham.

A native of Granville County, she was the daughter of the late Bud Leonard and Janie Pryor Floyd. She was a member of Oxford Baptist Church and worked for many Granville County doctors for 40 plus years.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 9th, 2013 in Elmwood Cemetery by the Rev. Chris Aho.

Surviving are a daughter, Lynn D. Cox and husband Keith, a son, Charles N. Daniel and wife Susan, five granddaughters, Ashley Cox Lewis (Bo), Leighanne Cox Keighley (Steve), Caroline Cox Brewer (Matt), Mary Claire Daniel Duke (Ryan), and Allie Malone Daniel all of Oxford, two great-grandsons, Landon and Noah Lewis, two great-granddaughters, Ava Grace Keighley and Lilly Kate Brewer.  She was predeceased by her husband, Nelson T. Daniel, longtime owner of Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford and Creedmoor.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM, Saturday, November 9th, 2013 at Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford and at other times at the home of Keith and Lynn Cox, 219 Hillcrest Drive, Oxford, NC.
