April was born on March 11th 1954 in Philadelphia, PA, to parents William Berry and Virginia. She graduated from Barringer High School in 1972. In 1980, she moved to California to be closer to her parents William and Virginia.

April was the glue of her family. Where she adopted her first Child Rosemary at birth on January 29th 1988 with her first husband, later on in 1992 she came across a boy who was living on the streets She knew what needed to be done. She took the child into her house fed him and determined to contact his family later to discover they had kicked him from their family home. At that moment she had decided to Adopt Rosemary’s Older Brother Tommy. April was never able to bare children of her own. But she always said God had a plan for her. And that plan was to Adopt Both Rosemary and Tommy. She spoke highly of both her children. She worked hard for many years to provide for them. She taught Rosemary how to bake and cook, while teaching Tommy how to make her world famous spaghetti sauce. In 1994 she was reconnected with an old friend whom later started dating. After the divorce from Rosemary’s father. Kacy was the father figure that April was looking for to help raise her two children.

She enjoyed cooking and baking along with spending time with her family, but in the summer of 1996 she found a new hobby and soon to be her career, she founded a Safety team for High Speed Motor Sports. She and her Partner Kacy have chosen the name Flag Pros. It started out as a simple weekend hobby to pass the summer bye but turned into a growing thriving business. That would go out of her way any help anyone in need. Didn’t matter if it was just a simple phone call to vent, or asking advice about whatever the person may needed she was always there for everyone no matter what.
