Her Life

Mother Mary L. Denson-DeLoach was born to the late Bro. Jeff Denson II. and Sis. Jimmie Copeland Denson in Harris County, Georgia on April 14, 1934. 

She was called home to join God’s Heavenly Home on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 from Columbus Hospice in Columbus, Georgia.
She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age.  She later became a faithful and devoted member of the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, where she served as President of the Mother board,  a Deaconess, a Usher  while striving to fulfill the missionary work that was assigned by God. She was also a hard worker at Cagles Inc. for 17 years,  where she made many friends and continued to work throughout the community to help those in need. She acquired a strong desire to help the elderly and to inspire others. Mother DeLoach was a mother figure to many and highly respected in her community.

She was united in Holy matrimony to the late Deacon Bennie J. DeLoach on January 21, 1956.  She was preceded in death by her eldest daughter, Martha Joann Pollard; son, Ronald DeLoach; and daughter, Kimberely Worthen.  

To that unity Mother Deloach leaves to cherish her loving memory three daughters, Gloria (Roy) Taylor, Jacqueline (Tommy) West both of Pine Mountain, GA; Tonji (Earnest) Walker; two adopted daughters Pamela (Wyatt) Bunkley and Angela WilliamsJones; four sons, Donald Deloach of Manchester, GA; Ricky (Linda) Deloach of Pine Mountain, GA and Todd (Barbara) Deloach of Columbus, GA and Trenton Pollard of Woodland, GA. Two maternal brothers, Cleveland (Barbara) Denson, Jimmy (Barbara) Denson; one maternal sister Eleise Denson of Bessemer, AL.  Melvin (Nina) Copeland of Manchester, GA; Charlie (Roosevelt) Acey of College Park, Ga; Sarah (Eugene) Barnes, Augusta, GA; Calvin (Stephanie) Copeland of Morrow, GA; Yvonne Sellers of Shiloh, GA; and Tommy(Theaster) Copeland of Shiloh, GA. Two loving brother-in-laws, Willie H. Deloach and Sid (Bobbie) Deloach Jr; Two loving sister-in-laws Florene Denson of Cleveland, OH; Annie (Atticus) Mathis of Manchester, GA. Twenty grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who loved and will miss her dearly.
