Dear Mom, not a day goes by that I’m not thinking of you. I cannot quite believe that you have been gone for almost two years. I still find myself thinking: oh, Mom will love that; or, I can’t wait to hear what Mom thinks about this. We all miss you; we all cherish the memories, the lessons, the love. Peace be with you in your heavenly home.

Hi Mom- it's your son, Free!

I did not realize that the anniversary of your Homecoming was here until Tana sent a beautiful message to remind us of your kindness, generosity, and love. Her message received a quick response of sadness and joy from Vette, Ron, and me. It is evident that you were a gift from God guided to raise 5 incredible children who share your gifts of love and selflessness. There isn't a day that your memory goes unnoticed that brings a smile to my heart.

I know you are doing the Lord's work in Heaven, giving and sharing your gifts with everyone you encounter. Say hello to all who have gone before you, and give our love especially to dad, Vonne, and Christopher.

Thank you for sharing this moment with me; I will continue to cherish your memory. I'll talk to you soon. I love you, mom!

My memories of mom are what most may say about their loved ones. She was a kind, thoughtful,  generous, and loving woman. The welcoming spirit she evoked was evident with everyone she met.

There are so many times mom was there for me and one of the most memorable, was as a young boy. I was in 2nd grade and she was helping me with English. I was struggling to understand,  but she was determined to work with me until I was able to comprehend the concept. There were other times that she encouraged me to strive forward and never have a defeatous attitude. Those are words I will never forget, they are engrained in my psyche.

Mom had an incredible smile; she taught us tolerance and the gift to be non-judgmental of others. She was guided by her faith and belief in God; she walked in His glory. When God sent the angels to bring her home, it was a peaceful transition.  We weren't ready for her to leave, but the Lord has other plans for mom in His eternal kingdom.

I love you, mom; your memory will be in my heart forever. Rejoice and be glad! Peace, love and blessings to you always!

Your loving son,
Freeman
