Mary Huff Cox, 78, a longtime resident of Granville County passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Universal Healthcare in Oxford.

A native of Person County, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Alfred and Rachel Gentry Huff. Mary was a member of Providence Baptist Church, a homemaker and was the widow of the late William Cox.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Eakes Funeral Home Chapel in Oxford by Rev. Terry Howard. Burial will be in Meadowview Memorial Park.

Surviving are two sons, James “Tommy” Cox (Rebecca), Paul Edward Cox, of Oxford; two sisters, Elizabeth Huff Humphries, Ruth Huff Satterwhite, of Oxford; four brothers, Bobby, Alfred, Archie and David Huff all of Oxford and several grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Huff Clark, a brother, James Huff and a son, Buck Cox.

Visitation will be held Saturday, October 22, 2106 from 9:30 – 10:45 A.M. at Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford and at other times the home of Tommy and Rebecca Cox.
