Sweet Childhood Memories
I remember my niece as a newborn when her mom, Patsy and father, Bud lived on Elberon Avenue in Price Hill. She was born at Good Sam in Cincinnati, Ohio and was a beautiful baby girl. She had a terrible of colic and cried and smiled all at one time. She called me her Aunt Benny and she grew up with her cousin, Robbie Mounce. I would take them to McDonalds and Mary wanted the burger and Robbie wanted the bun. One day I took them to get their favorite meal when Rob and Mary were about 21/2 years old. Mary did not want to wait for her french fries to cool and grabbed one then promptly dropped it and said, " Aunt Benny - Burn baby burn". I put some Ice on her little finger and within a minute she was happy as could be munching on her burger and fries. They were both always happy, singing and talking to each other in baby talk, afterwards, I took them to Mt. Echo Park to swing and it was always was beautiful and wonderful day when we went on our "trips". When I close my eyes and wonder back I can still hear their laughter. Happy Birthday - My wonderful & loving niece. You will be in my heart forever. Your Aunt Benny
