Mary Lee McCarley, 75, of Upper Sandusky, died at 10:30 pm Thursday, September 29, 2016 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center in Findlay.

She was born September 3, 1941 in Marion to the late Leslie and Goldie (Gheen) Smith. She married Dale E. McCarley on October 16, 1959 in Elk Valley, TN and he preceded her in death on February 8, 2007.

Surviving are three children: Mary Lou McCarley of Upper Sandusky, Eddie (Diana) McCarley of Braceville, and Tonya (Brandon) Voorheis of Harpster, two brothers: Lester Smith of Marion and Robert (Delores) Smith of Forest, two sisters: Wanda (Dennis) Pollock and Betty Smith both of Upper Sandusky, 4 grandsons: Matthew Voorheis, Jeremy Koehler, Adam and Derek Voorheis, and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers: Charles, Dallas, and Fred, and a sister, Gladys Smith.

Mary enjoyed going to garage sales, playing canasta, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was of the Pentecostal faith.

Visitation will be from 5 – 8 pm Monday, October 3, 2016 at Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky.

Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky, with Rev. Robert Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Old Mission Cemetery in Upper Sandusky.
