Mom was born in Ashtabula, Ohio. Was raised in Catoosa, Ok. Graduated high school in 1975. She met David Hixson in 1979, dated him and started having children in 1981. Mom and dad married in 1985. Divorced in 2007. However they remained friends and still loved each other. Just couldn't live together. Dad had a son In a previous relationship. Mom raised him. There is 5 of us all together. 4 boys and a girl. Mom lived on a farm as a child. She had 6 brothers and 1 sister. Her dad Melvin Piguet died in 1987. Her mother in 2000 Arlene Piguet Doney. She is buried in boatman, ok. And he is buried in Catoosa, ok. Mom was a nurse assistant thoughout her life, she worked at 2 hospitals and several nursing homes. She also volunteered and ran a homeless shelter located in Salina, Ok. With the founder of the homeless shelter.
