Mary was only 4 years old when her Aunt began taking her to work with her.  Since her aunt was a schoolteacher, Mary learned the lessons along with the other children.  In addition to her early start, Mary was also a good student and graduated from high school at age 16.

Christmas day, 2011, at about 9 PM, Mary Louise Harrison was born to Helen Louise Roat Harrison and Jesse Elmer Harrison.  She always said she spoiled her mother's Christmas dinner.  But we mothers know that the gift of life is worth a great deal of sacrifice.  And those of us who knew and loved her see what a wonderful present she was that day and in the 99 years that followed!
