This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Mary Searcy, 80, born on May 27, 1936 and passed away peacefully, on March 17, 2017, in Portland, TN. We will remember her forever. Mary (Nola) Magnola Searcy nee Hornburger of Nashville, TN went to be with her Lord on March 17, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband James Lester Searcy (JL) and her son James Keban Searcy.
She is survived by her daughter Karen Roberts (Carol) and her granddaughter Ashley and step grandsons Matthew and Christopher. Cremation has taken place and at Nola's request there will be no service.

Karen and Carol and family  I did not know your mother but I have heard wonderful stories from you both. She is never really gone her spirit is with you now. Karen you are the example of how great she was , she raised a strong and devoted daughter. Rejoice in her memory and talk with her always.  Jo-Anne

Aunt Nola you were a loving, kind, strong, beautiful, sweet, amazing lady. My family and I will miss all the fun and laughter we shared. We will meet again in our HEAVENLY home.  RIP

My favourite memory will always be when mom left us a phone message on our phone but did not hang up and we got to hear 3 minutes or so of he singing Islands in the Stream. My boys lived her so much. So glad we got to share part of her journey.
