I remember growing up my mom had a horrible time learning how to cook. when her and my dad got married she couldnt even boil water as she used to say.  my dads mom taught her how to cook. she taught me too so basically we both learned sometimes at same time as to what to cook and how. i remember one time my mom burned a pot of green beans. she cried thinking we all would hate her because she burned them. needless to say we didnt but  she was always trying somethign new as well
