Eulogies to Late Grandmother

Grandma, from my beginning until your end,
You were by my side, my first best friend.
I never expressed it when you were here
Though my love and admiration were sincere.
Not a day goes by that I don’t think of you.
You taught me more than I ever knew.
You gave me reason to continue the fight,
Saying a better day comes after the night.
Where would I be were you not around?
Likely adrift in the sea of life, drowned.
I am forever grateful for your love,
And I know you’re looking down from above.

The years will always roll on by
and time will always pass,
but every memory I have of you
will definitely always last.I like to smile when I think of you.
I try not to be sad.
It’s pretty easy to do
with all the good times that we’ve had.But sometimes I can’t help it,
and memories leak out of my eyes,
and I quickly try to brush them away.
I know you wouldn’t want me to cry.

I don’t know how it’s possible,
but I love you more now than I did then,
and I really cannot wait until
the day that I see you again.

Because, mummy, I know I would take hold of you
and never ever let you go.
Every day that passes by
I miss you more and more.

Full of love, I bid you goodbye and with heart filled with grief and sorrow. I wave my hands in anguish to the mother of great men and women. Tears withheld but my heart is heavy. And as I soliloquise your demise forever close and dear you will remain in my heart. To generations hereafter, your love shall inherit. I know that tears no more shall restore you but with memories, books not closed yet for In my heart you'll always be.
