Mary Rose Tillotson Allen passed away Wednesday, May 28th 2014 at her home.
A native of Granville County she was the daughter of the late Charlie Ray Tillotson and Mary LyniceHarris.
She was a graduate of CreedmoorHigh School, a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and retired as an instructor at the N.C. Rehabilitation Center for the Blindon the campus of the Governor Morehead School .
Memorial services will be conducted at 7:00 PM ,Monday evening, June 2, 2014 at Fellowship Baptist Church by Rev. Dan Hill and Rev. Ellie R. Allen. Burial will be private.
Surviving are a daughter, Bonnie Rose Allen of Stem, a son, Ellie R. Allen of Creedmoor, a granddaughter, Elaine Rose Byrd, a grandson John Thomas Allen and a great granddaughter, Hannah Rose Byrd. She was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth Tillotson Arnold and a brother, Winston D. Tillotson.
Visitation will be held Monday evening, June 2, 2014 from 6:00 to 7:00 PM prior to the memorial services at Fellowship Baptist Church and at other times at the home.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the NC Division of Services for the Blind, Rehab Center, 309 Ashe Street, Raleigh, NC 27606,or to ones favorite charity.
