This one is hard for me. My favorite auntie. My only aunt. Dragged me out my comfort zone and into the world. She taught me that there’s more to life than what I thought. I thank her for that, therefore I have no fear. Periodt. Love you auntie Mary.

That annual phone call I got every year is what I will always remember because I got it as close to 6 am as possible (even on the years I was not up early). I will forever miss my aunt and I appreciate the role she played in me becoming the person I am today, the home away from home that she gave me, and the encouragement to push myself forward regardless of the doubts I held. It takes a village and she was definitely in my cart, hardcore every step of the way since day 1.

Much Love Auntie

Mary, was my big sister always trying to keep Debra and I in check. Even when we were teenagers and grownups with families and kids of our own. Mary was always so bossy! But that was how she showed her Love for you. I live in MD. and for my 20th anniversary Mary flew here to be with me . Some people upset me at the rehearsal “Lol Mary said show them to me “ she was gonna go to the church and fight. Lord Mary loved her family and friends and you knew it. God I’m going to miss her, her laugh, her smile , flashiness and flamboyance. Yes she will be sorely missed but never ever forgotten. Mary is sitting at God’s heavenly throne now. Rest in Power Sis , Love You Always Marilyn

My forever Auntie Mary

Lord knows you was my L.A. MOMMA. You always taught me to be strong since a young princess. You would always teach me how to be a better young lady that would eventually grow up into a beautiful woman. You was there through all my steps of life. Hard times you made easy for me. You always let me know I was welcomed into you heart, home, kitchen, life of love and your AMAZING CLOSETS!!! You have always been the show up and show out auntie!!! You would always tag me along with Moochie to your company events where you would have me and moochie shut it down with our dance moves! You always embraced the uniqueness is each individual you came across! You was true to love and you loved hard! You made my younger years easier to get through. I will always be thankful for the love you showered me with. You always made me feel like family. I will never forget all the times we shared and the important lessons you taught me! It always was  good time when I was over your house and we  ALWAYS ATE GOOD!! Even when we got caught opening up all those Christmas gifts, You went hard in the paint and we ALL got our butts toe up that night! Our forever memories will keep me smiling about your love you shared. I will love you forever. This hit me so deep knowing you're not dancing, laughing, drinking your Pepsi and showing your love somewhere in this world. I will forever be grateful you was in my life. You made everything better! I know you're showing up and showing out in Heaven. Thank you for your love! Always and forever your neice April.

Forever in my Heart

Mommy,

I will forever cherish our memories together and will hold them dear to my heart. You never looked at me nor treated as just a friend of Lauren's but as an extended daughter and I truly am grateful for your love, honesty, and guidance which has helped me become the woman that I am today. I know that we will see each other again one day. I thank God for the life that he gave you, full of joy, happiness, love, prosperity, endurance, ambition, and most of all FAMILY & FRIENDS. I will forever "LOVE" you mommy and know that your in peace.

With Love,
Na
