BORN OCTOBER, 1949
Died October, 2023 peacefully at her home.
Mary Jane was the daughter of Ginny and Loren Wilson, both deceased.

She was a loyal, committed employee of the  BLUFF PARK UNITED METHODIST CHURCH for 47 years.

She loved her work, and received so much happiness from the hundreds of children she cared for in the nursery.  This church community gave her a purpose, joy, friendship and love. Her family will be eternally grateful.

Mary Jane also loved and cared for numerous sweet cats and dogs throughout many years of pet sitting for great friends.  She was an avid football fan; filling her fall Saturdays with Alabama, Auburn and Notre Dame games on tv.  YES, all 3 of those!!!

Mary Jane is loved by, and survived by:
Liza Sipe, sister
Carol Vizcaino, sister  (Carlos)
Michael Maroney, brother  (Anita)
Randy Sipe, nephew  (Nancy)
Amy Harpole, niece  (Brian)
Matthew Vizcaino, nephew
Ava, Haley, Brentlee, Rose,  great nieces.

I met Mary Jane 7 years ago when I began working at BPUMC Sunday Nursery. She and I worked together in the 3/4 year old room. She and I made a good team. She was so dedicated to her job and loved seeing generations of “her kids” come through. She loved my family so much and she always greeted me with a hug. She never forgot anyone’s birthday. I’ll miss my bday card in February. She was a big football fan and I could count on her to let me know who won on Saturday. She loved animals so much. She was the best when it came to petsitting. And she absolutely ADORED her family. She is going to be greatly missed. I will always love you, MJ! ❤️

I’m so grieved that Mary Jane has passed. She kept my son Daniel in the church nursery and numerous times at our house. We both lived on Old Briar Trail and would see her on a walk in her yard. She helped our family, always treating my son with love and care. We could always count on her. We will miss her and keep her in our hearts.
