Mary Magdalene Richardson passed away on her 40th wedding anniversary, January 14, 1979, in Atchison, KS at the age of 55.  She was born on July 24, 1923 in St. Joseph, MO to William Buford and Josephine White.  She was the seventh child of seven children.  She married Homer Deloss Richardson on January 14, 1939 in Atchison, KS.

In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, solving puzzles, and sewing.

Survivors include eight daughters: Mrs. Josephine Denmon, Miss Rosemary Richardson, Mrs. Darlene Matthews, Mrs. Irene Williams, Mrs. Geraldine Levy, Mrs. Lou Dydell, Mrs. Dora Brown and Miss Eve Richardson, one son: Mr. Homer Eugene Richardson; three brothers and one sister, and a number of grandchildren.

Her parents, husband, one daughter, Thelma Allen and two sisters preceded her in death

Interment in Sumner Cemetery in Atchison, KS.
