I miss you mom
This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Masako Nakamura Akins, 72, born on July 3, 1939 and died on February 14, 2012. She will forever be in our hearts.
Masako Nakamura Akins left this world Tuesday, February 14, 2012. She passed away peacefully surrounded by those she loved and is now in the arms of our Heavenly Father.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held for family and friends Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 1:00pm at the Fairfield Inn & Suites in McDonough.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be made to www.afriendshouse.org in memory of Masako Akins.
We also invite you to share your thoughts and memories of Masako below.

I have many thanks to give and they could not have been possible without you in my life. You've taught me right from wrong, well, I've strayed off that path in my younger years. With me being the oldest, I have more wonderful memories than my siblings and I wish they could have seen the kindness and motherly love that you have given us. I miss you dearly and think of you every day. You will always be in my heart. I am tearing up just posting this. I will see you again, until then I love you!

It's the moments I remember, Mom...
I remember walking beside you in Darmstadt with my handbag and big girl shoes with my heels proudly clicking away on the sidewalk.
I remember how you made Christmas special every year regardless of how much or how little we had.
I remember you playing Bingo with us every night in Darmstadt and I remember the way you held me years later as I cried over a boy.
I remember your food...boy you could cook! You could do everything...and you did it all well.
I remember how beautiful you were at my wedding and I remember the look on your face as you held your new grandson; and then later, your granddaughter. Mom, they were as beautiful as you.
I remember how much you loved me...how much you loved us all. And I know you love us still.
I'm so happy you are now at peace...that you're not in anymore pain and that you are surrounded by your family and friends that have gone before you.
