"Daddy, I didn't forget what yesterday was.  I miss you.  I love you.  I won't ever forget how awesome of a father you were.  Keep looking over us daddy and I know that you are at peace.

Love always, you daughter, Timika (Timmy)"

"Mathew Lamont,

Remember the summers at Franklin Park, with you manning the grill?  Great burgers take patience. Read a few pages of Sherlock Holmes, flip a burger; read a few pages....

Every time I hear a Motown bro band, I think of you.  If there is a Great Spirit, I'll never stop hearing you singing in my head. Thank you for not judging people for who they are and how they choose to live.

Love Always, Mignon Ariel"

"My daddy always gave me nuggets of wisdom throughout my life.  He always was a listening ear and gave non-judgmental advice.  He asked me a couple of weeks why people liked talking to him and asking for his advice.  I told him because he had a way of looking at life and he wasn't judgmental.  He laughed and looked at me sideways.  He said, "Well, honey, it's not that I don't judge what they say or what they did.  It's just that I keep it to myself.  We are all human and we tend to  judge things in our hearts, I'm just smart enough to keep those thoughts to myself and not voice them."  That was my daddy.  He was the first man to love me unconditionally, just as I was without wanting anything in return.  He was the first man I ever loved and no one will ever take his position in my heart.  Love you daddy."
