Hey Matt,
I know it has been a while since I have posted here. I miss you pal. I realized today that we are quickly approaching the 18th anniversary. Hard to believe it.

You are always remembered.

Hi Matt....I can't believe I've missed posting on here for 4 years. I belonged to so many sites that I can't keep track of them but of course you know that you'll always be remembered no matter if it's put into words or in my heart. I can't believe you would have been 43 years old today.....it just takes my breath away that these years have gone by so fast. I hope you're celebrating up in heaven with all of your family and friends that have joined you since you left us. Of course we will be celebrating by having our usual chinese food tonight with Mark, Morgan, Meghan & your namesake, Matthew. I love you so much Matt but one day we will be together again.

Hey Matt.
It has been a while, I think about you everyday. It seemed strange that we knew each other for such a short amount of time and yet you have had such a wonderful impact on my life. You inspired me to look past the hurdles in life, focus on the good things and say F---Y-- to the bad.

I remember when you went in for surgery, I was so hopeful because you fought long and hard and if anyone deserved a win, it was you. When I got the call about your passing, it was like getting sucker punched, I knew I would never know anyone else like you.
On January 19, 2017 my son Matthew Robert Prentice was born. He likes music and shenanigans. I miss you, also I have never made another "butt cake" (yes, the cake shaped like a butt with legs and a Hershey Kiss in the center).
You sir, will always be missed!

Happy 39th Birthday in Heaven my dear Matt.

As I opened my eyes this morning
I looked to the heavens above,
I whispered, 'Happy Birthday, Matt',
And sent you all my love.

I will love you always and forever Matt.
