Matty was born on Tuesday November 2nd at 11:11 am.  He weighed in at just 6 lbs, 5 oz and was 19" long.  He arrived 25 days early and that was the last time he was early for anything. lol. He suffered from chronic ear infections and lactose intolerance but that didn't stop him from water play or eating food he shouldn't.  He was a very picky eater who loved pasta with butter and a dash of oregano, pizza and peanut butter.  

Matty was a generous child and always tried to get along with everyone.  When he was 9, he saw a little boy crying on halloween because he didn't get any candy.  Matty didn't hesitate to reach into his overflowing bucket and give a couple of handfuls of his candy to the little boy.

Matty wasn't perfect, but he tried hard to be and that pressure he put on himself took a toll on him.  He joined the Sea Cadets, the Topsfield Fire Explorer program and after High School, the Marines.  He loved landscaping, tree climbing and cutting them down. He loved Country Music and Classical as well as Classic Rock.  He claimed that "AC/DC is the best band ever"
 
He enjoyed being with friends and family and loved to joke, do karoke and pull pranks.  He loved to tick people off, see how far he could push them and then make them laugh at him.   

On Tuesday, April 14th he ended his battle with the demons and left a lot of people broken hearted.  Please feel free to share your memories of Matty with all of us.
