Let the memory of Matthew be with us forever

Cpl. Matthew J. Stanley of Wolfeboro, New Hampshire grew up in the Ossipee Wolfeboro area. In 2002, he graduated from Kingswood Regional High School, where he was well-known and well-liked by his peers and teachers. He was outgoing and deeply proud and personal about his two tours of duty in Iraq. He was a typical boy who loved to take things apart and put things back together. He always had a good circle of friends. He was the type of kid that everybody wanted for a friend. Matt had been married less than a year. He was 22. Repulican Presidential hopeful, Senator John McCain wears a black bracelet with Matthew's name on it. He has worn the bracelet since Matt's mother gave it to him. More often than not, when Senator McCain wraps up a rally or a political event, he will close by telling the audience about Matthew.

"He and I have grown up together from 1st grade. He was always fun and full of laughter. He would have given anything for a smile or to brighten your day. He was smart, sarcastic, and an all around love. You will forever be in our hearts Matty boy. <3"
