I grew up with Matt but was a year older. He was a one in a million in many ways, but he will always be the star athlete with a great personality. When all kids were going crazy for air Jordans when they first came out, Matt ran to KMART to buy a knockoff repilica and came to school showing everyone, when he easily could have got the real ones. I never forgot that and viewed it as a life lesson never to take yourself too seriously. My thoughts to his family and many friends.
