Her Life

Our life continues......

April 28, 2020
So I was reading thru all the stories I have written for you and I realized part of my crazy year included something wonderful, you have a New Great Granddaughter , Parker has a new little sister, Sophia Maureen, she is 10 months old now and is a true gift from God but I know you already know that.
Sophia Maureen is our beautiful little rainbow baby, she came out letting the world know that she had arrived, we called her a little banshie,  and today at 10 months she has a mind of her own, she absorbs every word just waiting to blossom. This little girl is so in love with her brother Parker and has the biggest, brightest blue eyes ever!
Ten tiny fingers Ten tiny toes, Two big blue eyes and one tiny nose. A beautiful smile, Straight blond hair . A perfect little Angel just standing there, A blank slate for mommy to mold. A little girl for Granny to hold.  She watches Parkers every move, sure not to miss a beat.  I can’t believe Amandas a mom again, it’s different , but neat.  Her hero, her savior, her own little me, the love of her life, it’s hard to believe and unbreakable bond between her and I, No limit to love when it reaches the sky.
Sophia is truly a gift- a blessing from God. A miracle that brings happiness into our lives.
Life is fleeting, years rush past . . .
and little girls grow up so fast!
Let me take time out to be
glad that mine's still here with me.
And though I'm busy through the day,
let me take time out to play . . .
Let me take time out to smile,
to linger with her for a while . . .
To invite her under the table for tea
and dress up silly as can be.
Let me take time out to sing
and dance and skip
and twirl and swing . . .
To splash in puddles when it rains
and make her fancy daisy chains.
Let me take time out to hear
about the things that she holds dear.
Let me tuck her in at night,
hear her prayers, turn off the light.
And for one more moment let me pray
and thank God that we shared this day!

God bless you baby Sophia, you may not know me but Mommom loves you! I will be your guardian Angel!

Welcome your surprise Grandchild Eli

May 13, 2017

You have a new Great Grandson , Eli, arriving anyday, Gloria Renee and Mark are so excited as we all are, he is a true blessing to all of us and we anxiously await his arrival.  Mommy please guide him into this world as you have all of your grandchildren and Great grandchildren, maybe he will come tomorrow on Mothersday to make his big arrival.

A little bit of heaven will be sent from above, a handful of happiness, a heartful of love.  The mystery of life so sacred and sweet, the giver of joy so deep and complete.  Precious and Priceless so lovable too, the worlds sweetest miracle, Baby Boy Eli, is you!

A baby boy was created by the hand of God above, to give the world the sweetest touch of tenderness and love.  With the softness of a whisper, God made a baby's skin and then designed to trusting eyes to put the starlight in.  With giggles from a waterfall and breezes passing by.  God made a baby's laughter and a tiny, sleepy sigh.  God made the world a precious gift, more dear and pure than gold, with little toes to play with and tiny hands to hold.  Then brought into the sunshine a precious baby boy, all wrapped up in a rainbow of wonder, hope and joy.  Welcome with the help of the Angels, baby Eli !

You and Maurie

May 13, 2018

On January 28th 2018 Your baby  girl Maurie Ann came to be with you in Heaven.  She missed you every single day since you left her.  She knew you were always there for her and never let her down.  There was once a time when Maurie was having surgery for tumors and I sat next to you as you begged our Lord to let you have them instead of her.  You were willing to sacrifice your life for your little girl.  There is no greater love than that.

Great Grand Children

January 3, 2015

I know you have been walking along with your great grand children they are all growing up and becoming beautiful young adults.

Sarah,Curriece, McKenzie, Elizabeth, Zachary,  and a new little boy is on the way.  Please be his angel as he enters this crazy world!

Your first great granddaughter , Sarah.  Gloria Renee's baby girl
Long before Sarah was born, you gave her a piece of your heart.
Your fine precious great granddaughter you loved her from the start.
I know that you have been here for her, each and every day.
Sarah is growing into this beautiful young lady that is in college now and reminds us of you in every way.
You would be as proud of her as we all are.
She is your biggest brightest Star.

I'm getting older now, No longer a child, Not yet an adult, But a girl trying to carve a path for herself
I'm learning to make my own choices, Molding a future with my bare hands, Learning how to step out, Despite the shaky ground
I no longer need to be held tight in your embrace, But crave an independence, One that lets me explore my hunger for this world, A world full of hidden meanings
But sometimes I fall, As I struggle to take in the world before me, Overwhelmed by the bigger picture, The adulthood that lays ahead
And it must be hard for you to accept, That I'm building a life for myself, Making mistakes that you cannot cure,

Curriece came next, Joseph's pride and joy. We call her Riece, and we all love her to piece.  She has the heart of gold. and she can be very Bold.  She's smart, caring, loving, responsible and loves life!    Curriece is still in High School and she just got her drivers license. We know you will be her guardian angel and she discovers this world.

I am growing up, Daddy Don't you see? You gotta let me go Let me spread my wings I am growing up, Daddy Don't you see? Gonna explore the world, Daddy Gonna be seen Let me go, Daddy I will come back to see, See you and Mommy on those summer eves, You gotta let me go, Daddy Please set me free?  Mom mom will be by her side Joseph for the entire ride.

Along came McKienze, Glorias youngest baby girl,   McKienze is our all.  We  know you were with her when she was very sick and you have been there every minute since.
McKenzie will be who ever and what ever she wants to be because she can, and we all know it. McKenzie is the light that shines for all of us.

Little wishes on great big stars. Granddaughter, I make a wish for you. Keep on growing and keep on smiling. And I'll keep loving all that you do.
Little dreamers wishing big things. The world is your stage to display. You can sing and you can dance. Enjoy all that comes your way.
Little hopes in a great big world. Nothing can stop your free spirit. Make some noise, play a beat. It's beautiful music when I hear it.
Little kisses from my now big girl, You're growing up so fast it seems. Pretty soon you'll leave the nest And fly after all of your dreams.
Little girl I love you, And I love you even more. Because I made a wish once, And you're what I wished for.  Mommom loves you McKenzie.

Elizabeth, Roberts little girl is now almost 13 years old. It seems like she has grown up over night.   Elizabeth is a loving, caring child, that never got to be a child.  Please be with her every step of the way.

My granddaughter how you're growing and changing every day; Some day you'll be too busy to dance, and sing, and play. It seems like only yesterday I rocked you in my arms; and though a tiny baby I was captured by your charms. Then in the blinking of an eye a toddler walked to me, Those days too are gone now but oh, how can that be. Now when I look at you a little girl I see, with grown up dreams and wishes playing make-believe. Too soon you will be all grown up, but my pride will never end. For I'll always be your grandmother  and I hope your dearest friend.  Mommom loves you Elizabeth.

Zachary, Josephs son and  your first great grandson, is also growing up but to us he is still just a little boy who loves baseball. He is a little spit fire and fun to be around. We like to drive him crazy. Before you know it he will be grown and having babies just like his dad.

It's Friday night, I've got a game We play the Indians, My best friend's team
My uniform's on It's only 4 o'clock Mom says we leave 5:30 on the dot
Tonight's our first game I'm fast in my new cleats My glove's broken-in cause I've slept on it for weeks
I'm still a little nervous but not about playing I'm wondering which girls are there and what I'm going to be saying......

By the time you read this you will be a big boy. I know you will be kind, funny, wise, sensitive, interesting, and a ball of fire! Your parents are all of these things. I know you will be strong and a wonderful hugger. Your father was and still is. I wish you happy, happy, days! You will have some bad days, yes. They are important so you can appreciate the good ones. There will be disappointments; I know you will be able to handle them. Mommom always says, "Life is 10% of what happens and 90% how you handle it. I pray you learn about humility. Please always let an outsider feel inside, and always, always be kind. I hope you learn that honesty is the best policy, And that doing a hard day's work will always make you feel better. Be a loyal friend, one people can count on and trust. I hope you put all of these wonderful things you possess To make yourself and the world around you a better place to live in. Please learn about the "God Stuff;" it really works, trust me. You have such a wonderful mother. She will be the one to teach you all the good things in life. Remember how to play, for you are in for a loving time.. I can't wait to see you. I love you already.  Mommom Loves you Zach

Parker, our latest addition and Amandas first child  is 10 months old and a blessing from god.

Sticky fingers ' tangled hair, scattered crayons, everywhere. Fancy artwork ' on the wall ' drawn by midgets ' three feet tall. Tell me why ' and tell me how ' that was mine ' I want it NOW! Fix my bike.  Buy me gum. If you have it, I want some. Dirty faces, grass-stained knees, learning words ' like pretty please. Endless hugs & goofy wet kisses, learning respect with 'Mr.' & 'Mrs.' Scraped-up hands, from falling down. Tender tugs - - on my night gown. Need more paper ' for Santa's letter? I wasn't so bad ' but I've been better. Watching a movie ' again and again ' Mommy, please ' put the tape back in. Messy fingers ' hair gone wild ' all in the life ' of a precious child !!

Parker Mommom is with you every minute and I love you dearly, but I can not be here in person so Granny will do that for me, but Mommom loves your Parker.

I guess that I can hold you one more time before you grow and tell you that I love you so that you will always know. Please let me tie your shoe again. One day you'll tie your own. And when you think back to this time I hope it's love I've shown. Can I help you put your coat on? Can I please cut up your meat? Can I pull you in the wagon? Can I pick you out a treat? One day you might just care for me, so let me care for you. I want to be a part of every little thing you do. Tonight could I please wash your hair? Can I put toys in the bath? Can I help you count your small ten toes before I teach you math? Before you join a baseball team can I pitch you one more ball? And one more time can I stand near to make sure you don't fall? Let's take another space-ship ride Up to the Planet Zoor. Before our Cardboard Rocket doesn't fit us anymore. Please let me help you up the hill. while you're still too small to climb. And let me read you stories while you're young and have the time. I know the day will come when you will do these things alone. Will you recall the shoulder rides and all the balls we've thrown? I want you to grow stronger than your Dad could ever be. And when you find success there will be no soul more proud than me. So will you let me carry you? One day you'll walk alone. I cannot bear to miss one day from now until you've grown.

So as time has gone by
and you look down from the sky,

Your last grandchild is about to be born,
at less than a pound,
Jesse Dane, has come down.

This little tiny baby
Was sent from God above
To fill our hearts with happiness
And touch our lives with love
He must have known
We’d give our all
And always do our best
To give this precious baby love
And be grateful and so blessed..

So as time goes by, we know you are here,

You said,  " Let me tell you, child, before you grow About your life, things you should know
There will be times you need to contemplate loss There will be mountains to climb and rivers to cross
Each moment is precious, so enjoy every one
Live for the moment and follow the Son.
He won’t forsake you in your darkest time
there will be mountains, He’ll help you climb.
Teardrops and laughter, sunshine and rain Love and happiness, heartaches and pain.
You’ll face all of these in your own day
Each is a blessing in its own way
Facing those challenges, crossing those streams
You’ll find special moments living your dreams
Sometimes you’ll be angry and sometimes you’ll stray
There will be mountains that stand in your way
You’ll look to Jesus when you’re in need of a Friend
There will be mountains that you will ascend."

Mommy, this was the best advice you have given us all, both children and grandchildren, we have all had many many mountains to cross and still do every day and it is much easier knowing you are walking with us.

Your next chapter will be about your GREAT Grand babes!!

Dear Mommy

You've been gone for a while a life time it seems,
but your still in my mind and always my dreams.
Yes, I can still visit the cold place you lay,
but why?   It just reminds me of that horrible day.
Sometimes I am glad you are relieved of your hurt,
but I hate it to know you are covered with dirt.
I suppose I am selfish for wanting you here,
but you are my mother, a mother so dear.
It makes no sence what those people say!
" Only the good die young, Why? Why is it that way?
I wish that you did'nt have to go,
so you could have seen your grandbabes grow.
Gloria Renee' who is so full of life,
will someday soon make a beautiful wife.
And that little boy, Joseph, who was just a toddling two.
with the bumps on his head and the untied shoe,
has grown into a fine young lad,
who is about to become a 1994 grad!
While you were gone but not far away,
you became a "mom mom" another day.
First, a young boy, Roberts his name,
A loving, careing teenage lad,
when others call him Bobby he gets mad.
You'd be proud of him, I'am sure you would,
I am sure you would love him as much as you could.
Eight years passed by, and then another,
Robert is now a big brother.
A new little life has blessed our lives,
Amanda Maureen,
she was named after you, both lively and wise.
I wish you could see her, she just started school,
a beautiful little girl, that will take no bull.
A part of you will stay with me in everything, I do.
For I want to be a " Mother", as wonderful as you.
I may not understand quite why, he took you from our reaches,
but, I never stopped believing in the words that Jesus preaches.
Oh, Mommy, you're gone, but not forgotten,
nor will you ever be,
as long as life shall last and throughout eternity.

I love and miss you dearly.
Love Jeannie

Maureen Davies met Walter W Treen while he was stationed in the AirForce in England.  They were married in St. Augustines Church in England on November 27th 1954. The following year they had Gloria Margarette, and then left for Millville NJ in the United States.  They had three more children, Jeannie Marie, Maureen Ann, and Walter Anthony.

Maureen only got to return home to England once, with many thanks to her  wonderful daughter, Gloria.

She loved her family dearly.
