Max Galloway, our beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew and cousin, passed away after a brief illness on August 1, 2017. He was 25 years old.

Max was a wonderful son, brother, friend and citizen. He took pride in hard work, diligence, loyalty and reliability. He was a source of great light in our family.

Max grew up in Southern California prior to moving to Kansas in 2006 where he attended Blue Valley West High School. While at Blue Valley West, he won a scholarship to Johnson County Community College and received several other achievement awards.

Max was an avid fan of video gaming and spent his leisure time with his close friends and fellow gamers from all over the world.

A kind and caring person, Max was always available to help those struggling and less fortunate with encouraging words and compassionate listening. He spent many hours counseling and mentoring those in need.

He enjoyed his extended family and would travel annually to visit and stay in touch.

Max was a very special person whose wit and intellect brought happiness to all of those around him. He would always acknowledge everyone with a pleasant hello and bright smile.

To our extended family and friends, we are thankful for your ongoing love and support for Max as you have always protected him and kept him close in your hearts.

We are eternally grateful for the joy you brought to Max’s life and to ours.

Max is survived by his Mother and Father, Shannon and Rick, and his brother Kace, along with loving Grandmothers, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

We will love and remember him forever.
