This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Melissa Lawson, 18, born on September 14, 1976 and passed away on March 25, 1998. We will remember her forever.

My daughter, my special angel, the very best part of me, is missed so very very much. Melissa had Downs Syndrome but was the smartest person I have ever known. Melissa made me a better person and it is so hard to go on without her.Melissa was the wind beneath my wings and the song is gone from my heart without her.We will meet again in heaven and until then she can spread her wings and fly

Melissa never wanted me to worry about any thing, being a single mom that was sometimes a hard thing not to do. If Melissa ever thought I was sad or something was on my mind, she would say " Mom, don't worry be happy". Melissa was a blessing to me in every way!!!!
