no story really, just missing Melodie and I know we would be having a glass of wine today celebrating her birthday.....

A group of us had birthday parties with wine and hor deurves  and it is time for hers! 

HERE'S TO YOU MELODIE  

This delicate porcelain keepsake has been around as long as I can remember. My mom just kept gluing it back together whenever it got knocked over. Cherishing the precious is what she did. Now it is more precious to me than ever.

Daddy had these precious bears made for Sylvia, Holly and me from Momma's pajamas. 

Mel had a memory like an elephant.  She never forgot anything.  Anytime you needed to know something, just ask Mel.  She knew!  I just want her to know that we will never forget her!  Thanks for being such a good friend all these years.  I am proud to have been your friend.  Goodbye and God Bless.

Stumpknocker's on the River was one of our favorite places to go whenever I visited Mel and Den.  Mel was a great cook but we also enjoyed dining out and there was no better place to go than here.  Gator Tail was a first for me and I grew very fond of it thanks to Mel and Den.  The month of May will always hold a special place in my heart.  That was the month I would always go there to visit.  Thanks for creating some of my most memorable experiences.

  On one of my trips to visit Mel and Dennis, we decided to go to Clearwater and check it out.  We had a great time and got to enjoy some of the local color and beverages.  What a great memory!  I will always cherish the times we shared together.  You are a real angel!

We the fabulous five have been celebrating christmas now for several years.  We enjoy each other's company and have a little gift exchange and wine and goodies.  It was time spend with Melodie that we will never forget

Melodie is cancer free... Yay... to celebrate we had a girls trip to Madeira Beach.  Here we are at a little shop there trying on hats.  Such a wonderful trip with some awesome memories of time with Melodie! 
 

God said your little community is so nice, I will place a living Angel amongst you all,and so it was,and her Earthly name is .While in this life Melodie offered every thing for the betterment of all mankind.Melodie made my first grandson ,while in her last days here on earth,a blue baby blanket which reflects her caring and compassion in the thoughts she had while making this priceless gift. For all who cared for her in her final days , God Bless You All . Rememer this, we are not humans having a spiritual experience ,we are spiritual beinings having a human experience. WITH LOVE ,LOVE,LOVE

What is dying?

A ship sails and I stand watching

till she fades in the horizon, and

someone at my side says:

“She is gone.”

Gone where?

Gone from my sight, that is all;

she is just as large as when I saw

her… the diminished size and total

loss of sight is in me, not in her.

And just at the moment when

someone at my side says:

“She is gone,”

there are others who are watching her coming, and other voices

take up a glad shout:

“There she comes!”
