Mrs. Melvinia Landers Marshall of Columbus, passed away Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at Columbus Hospice House. She was 67 years old and resided at 713 Greenbriar Drive.

A native of Russell County, AL and the daughter of Mrs. Annie M. Anthony Landers and the late Joe Landers, Melvinia was born September 30, 1946.

She retired after over 35 years of services from GFA Compressors and was a member of Fourth Street Missionary Baptist Church. Other than her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Carroll Landers.

Survivors other than her mother include her spouse, Ralph Marshall; four sons, Willie Landers(Linda), Paul Landers(Latanga), Ralph Landers(Lashunda) and Reginald Landers; seven grandchildren; nine brothers, Norah Landers, Will H. Landers(Jessie), Amos Landers, Walter W. Landers, McArthur Landers, Joe Landers Jr, Ervin Landers, Ernest Landers and Wardell Landers; five sisters, Luevial Streeter, Lizzie Pugh, Bertha Pugh(L.C.), Josephine Landers and Juanita Oneal(Robert); and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
