Funeral service will be held Monday, June 14, 2021 at W.E. Lusain Funeral Home (2060 Germantown Street). Visitation to begin at 1:00pm and service to follow at 1:30pm. Mask are reequired. 

Mendell Porter was the sole child of Richard Shepherd and Deborah Porter born August 3, 1975. At an early age he professed Christ and was water baptized. He was affectionately known as T to all his friends and associates. 

T was a very outgoing person and a Real Friend to All he Befriended. Even when beaten down and seemly ready for defeat he always found a way to come up on Top! He enjoyed being with family and had a love for animals His Dogs! Everyone loved his laughter and smiles, and he was Blessed and Truly a Blessings to others.

Mendell departed this life on June 8, 2021. He was preceded in death by his brother Richard Barnes a.k.a Tang.

He leaves to cherish his memories his Father and Mother Richard and Deborah; 2 children Fairra his daughter and King his Son; Numerous Uncles and Aunts Jim, Bernard, Leonard ,Kevin, Dottie, Matilda, Carolyn, Mary, Janice, Della, Jackie, Lynn. Mendell loved and enjoyed his cousins, a Host of them too many to name.
