Our hearts were filled with sorrows upon hearing the sudden demise of our beloved mother who in diverse ways sacrificed herself for Christ, the children and grandchildren she left behind.
Strong to the very end, Mama as we affectionately called you; was like a second mother us all. We wish that we could tell you we are not ready to let you go but you have already departed and our heart feel so low and empty. We miss that little sparkle that light up your eyes when we amused you during those challenging times. And we miss the sound of your voice, your laughter and your sighs during good times; dancing to your favourite songs like “Modesola you're a Queen ooh, Mama is a Good Girl and a Fine Girl”.
But most of all we miss the way you made us feel when you tease us with names like Omoko and sometimes admonished us for making you eat when you did not feel like doing so.
The love we shared was so strong and real, and there are others here who miss you too and they have gathered here today to show how much you will be missed. Your life touched so many people and we all want you to know that we love you and are filled with sadness and grief that you have left us so soon.
Mama's in her last days will say I'm going they are coming for me.
Being mortal, selfishly we don’t really want to say goodbye. So we wish you eternal peace knowing you are up there watching over us so we can feel your presence daily.
Mama Rest in Perfect Peace.

From Dembi Akinyosade
The short time I spent under you played a huge role in shaping me
into the woman I am today. And I am thoroughly grateful for that .
You were kind, compassionate and considerate woman.Even as you were firm and principled in your dealings.
I mourn and also celebrate you because I know you 're in a better place, away from the world troubles.
May the Lord grant you eternal rest.
Adieu Mama.
'There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: a time to be born, a time to die, a time to mourn, a time to plant, a time to heal, a time to build, a time to embrace, a time to laugh, a time to dance' Ecclesiastes 3:1-5
You came into our lives and immediately moved everything possible to meet us and eventually connected us to our lovely cousins. Without your perseverance, we probably wouldn't have met our cousins, and we definitely, wouldn't have formed the close bond we share today.
Thank you ma, for your love, advice and the motherly support you gave me.
Your spirit lives on in my cousins and your beautiful soul will always be remembered.
Happy memories lives forever and our little time together Will last as long as my memory will serve me.
May your beautiful soul rest in peace AMEN

Rest in paradise grandma, forever loving you
Rest in perfect peace Grandma
Your love for the Lord was undeniable, in that your every conversation was punctuated by "we thank God"!
Indeed ...you fought a good fight; you finished your race.... Thank you for your liquid love for the "Chief's" family
For what is mortal must be changed into what is immortal; what will die must be changed into what cannot die. So when this takes place, and the mortal has been changed into the immortal, then the scripture will come true: “Death is destroyed; victory is complete!”
1 Corinthians 15:53-54 GNB
Rest well Ma
Unsurprisingly courageous till the end, you always held God in your heart. Thankyou for the lessons, even through the journey you remained thankful.
With a heavy heart it’s goodnight Ma, you are missed so much by all of us.
Rest in heavenly peace from Glory to Glory ‘Grandma’ #forever in our hearts.
“Emi omolegilegi omo chief lodugba” as you always called me; Aunty Mode where do I start? I am lost for words and still cannot believe you are gone You have left such a big gap that can never be filled within the whole family and you will surely be missed. Aunty Mode was a devoted wife, sister, loving mum and grand-mum who cherished her two sons, lovely daughter-in-law and granddaughter. She was a devoted Christian, always bringing happiness to anyone she’s in contact with and would always go the extra mile to help others. She was loved dearly by the whole family and was such a happy woman; I never saw Aunty Mode angry. I remember when she used to bring different types of goods to the UK to sell and she would always encourage me to sell them despite the fact I sometimes thought they were not saleable in the UK. However, Aunty Mode always came up with the right sales tactics to get all the goods sold. Aunty Mode was a business woman, hardworking and very enterprising, which is some of the qualities she has transferred to her children.
Aunty Mode I am going to miss your lovely smile, gentle nature, advice and especially your jokes and voice. I pray that the almighty God gives the whole family the strength to bear your loss. Much love Tayo and Ayotunde..May the Lord almighty grant you internal rest, until we meet again my dearest Aunty Mode. Amen.

That was her secret you know; Always giving without expectations.
She was as constant as sunrise, the moon, the stars and boy I counted on her.
She helped me find my way most importantly through my formative years and made my laugh while doing it. Among a million things she taught me that charming smile. There some things only a mother can do. Miss you mum!
