Life's Pathway

November 27, 2012

At times, life's paths seems filled with things that make the going rough,
And we wish there were a smoother road....for we feel we've had enough....
But, if we paused a moment and remember "Who's" in charge,
The hills that loom ahead of us no longer seem so large,
And every rock before us, when we know we're not alone....
Becomes, not just a stumbling block...but one more stepping stone.
You've overcome so many things and, every time you've grown...
Through sheer determination and wisdom that you've show.
So as you journey from the moment you begin....
Know that GOD will guide you, and you'll have the strength to win.

“A Poem to our Son” Michael A. White Sr. (Father) & Wanda Mincey (Mother)

November 26, 2012

I never want this to go unsaid, so here in this poem, is for it to be said. There are no words to express how much you mean to us.  A son like you, we thought could never be. Because the day you were born, we just knew God sent us a blessing- and that was you. For this we thank God every day.  You are the true definition of a son, in every way. It is because of you that our lives had meaning.  Becoming a parent has shown us a new sense of being. We want you to know that you were the purpose of our lives. Out of everything we did or didn’t do… it was you that we did right. Always remember that we know how much you cared. We can tell by the relationship that we shared. For a son like you there could be no other, and whether we are together or apart…in life or death...please do not ever forget….You will always have a piece of our hearts…Now….Later….Forever!
